Permits Engineer

Job Overview:

Full time, 6-8 years of experience, New Cairo, 5th settlement

Job Description:

  • Identify and obtain the required permits, licenses, and approvals for construction, environmental, zoning, and other project-related activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and officials to facilitate the permit application and approval process.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive permit applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documents, maintaining organized records of permits, approvals, and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for permit applications and integrate permitting requirements into project schedules and plans.
  • Interpret and apply regulations to specific projects, ensuring adherence to all applicable standards.
  • Provide guidance on permit-related issues and potential impacts on project timelines, identifying and addressing potential obstacles or challenges in the permit acquisition process.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in obtaining permits for construction, development, or other projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and permitting processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational and documentation management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems for permit tracking and documentation.
